Gottfried Helnwein Image Response

To me I see a girls face with a man in small perspective climbing up her nose. I think the artist made it seem like the man was climbing up the girls face in photoshop. I think this is an artistic image. I think this photo means that small things can mean so little in someones mind but so big in another's. I think the photographers intent was to make people question what is happening and to make them ask questions and make different interpretations. The difference in scale between the man and the girl adds to my interpretation because it makes me wonder why is the man "climbing" her face and why is the girl cut off. It adds a mysterious vibe to the photo that only the artist or photographer can really know.
